ABOUT ME

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at my portfolio and learn a bit about me! I am a graduate of the University of North Alabama pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism and Digital Media Production and minoring in Marketing.

During my time at college, I realized how passionate I was about content creation and social media. I was initially a secondary education major but I knew I had to make the switch to communications. This is when I developed my skills in newspaper/magazine writing, social media management, graphic design, and more. I was able to explore my passions through writing for my college paper and magazine; as well as dip my toes into radio production and digital marketing at my internship with Big River Broadcasting.

My plan since graduating is to start a career in social media and marketing because it allows me to have a creative outlet in a professional environment. As I search for jobs, I am continuing my education by taking various courses to help hone my skills. I have also started a freelance social media management business to as well. 

 

My dream is to work at a marketing agency as an account coordinator or copywriter  I am looking forward to future job opportunities that will allow me to grow my skill set further and start my career as a marketing professional!
